Hannah and Nate both are transplant New Yorkers. So being here is probably temporary. So of course having their engagement photographs done in New York City was the best choice! So we explored their neighborhood on the upper west side, stopped by Grand Central and ended in the west village and photographed at some iconic NYC locations! Here are some highlights:
I’m definitely a New Yorker through and through, and I love photographing in this beautiful city. This couple wanted to capture the charming streets of the West Village- which is one of my personal favorite locations! We embarked on a journey to discover some of the neighborhood's most picturesque spots, each corner offering a new opportunity for capturing their love story in all its beauty. Against the backdrop of iconic brownstones and bustling cafes, we immersed ourselves in the vibrant energy of the city. From cozy stoops to leafy parks, each location provided a unique backdrop that perfectly complemented the couple's love.
As we strolled along the cobblestone streets, laughter and conversation filled the air, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. And what better way to top off our photoshoot adventure than with a sweet treat from Van Leeuwen? With ice cream in hand, we continued our journey, indulging in the simple pleasures of life and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Through my lens, I sought to capture not just the love between this beautiful couple, but also the spirit of the city that surrounded us. The West Village served as the perfect canvas for their love story, each photograph a testament to the timeless charm and romance of New York City. As the day drew to a close, we bid farewell to the West Village, hearts full of cherished memories and smiles that would linger long after the photoshoot ended. It was a joy and honor to capture the love of this couple in the heart of New York City, a city that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Michelle and Mark, guided by their deep love and a desire for a meaningful celebration, entrusted me, a passionate New York City wedding photographer, to capture their journey. Following the ceremony, we ventured to a nearby park, where laughter and joy filled the air as we immortalized the love shared between Michelle, Mark, and their cherished friends and family. As a photographer who adores capturing the essence of New York City, I reveled in the opportunity to showcase the unique beauty and energy of this vibrant and diverse city. Continuing the celebration at the Hudson, Michelle and Mark were enveloped in elegance and romance. Against the backdrop of the city skyline, they danced the night away, reveling in the joy of being husband and wife. Their wedding day was a testament to the enduring bond they shared and to the vibrant spirit of New York City. It was an honor to document such a meaningful celebration of love in the greatest and most diverse city in the world.
Shana and Brad wanted to photograph inside Grand Central Station in New York City, since it was a location that held a special part of Brad's heart. He would commute through there everyday, but also it was where he proposed to Shana via the Whispering walls. We started their session inside and made our way throughout. Shana even wore the veil that her mother wore at her wedding many years before! It was really beautiful. Afterwards, we walked up Park ave to go towards their apartment in New York City to get on the roof and get some scenic shots of the New York City landscape! It was gorgeous! There was a great view of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building! Gorgeous place to photograph!!! Along with having an amazing time with my clients... we also bumped into Jeremy Lin and he was gracious enough to take a photo with the future married couple! It was awesome! Brad is a Knicks fan... so it worked out perfectly! Again, I love being a New York City Wedding Photographer because of the happenstances like this!!
