Angel loves animals! Which is why Gary chose the New York City Central Park Zoo to propose. Gary enlisted his friend Tim, who came from out of town to visit the Central Park Zoo. Although it was February, NYC was finally beginning to warm up, and it was a sunny beautiful winter day. As Gary, Angel and Tim walked into the Zoo, they stopped at the bird section first- Angel spent time enjoying the birds and even fed them! After they exited the birds section, they were approaching the 'destination' and Tim had to "duck out to use the restroom". Gary then led Angel to the middle of the Zoo, gave her a hug and began his journey towards the big question. Giving her a book of "Why I Want to Marry Angel", let her soak it all in, then he bent down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. It was awesome!! I love that even in New York City there are such beautiful havens and spaces for animals and people! I love being a New York City wedding photographer! Here are some highlights :D
A New York City Summer Studio Long Island City Wedding
Congrats to Cori & Spencer! Their venue, Studio Square, was a gorgeous raw space in Long Island City in New York City. They had an amazing view of the New York City Skyline. I always really appreciate a fun bride, groom and bridal party- they always help create the most fun stop motions and photos! The bride also had specially made Secret Groom's cake in the shape of his favorite pair of Jordans (he's a huge sneaker collector). It was really sweet!! Also Corinna was beautiful in her Jimmy Choo sparkly shoes and her gorgeous gown. All the support and love that was shown throughout the night was palpable and beautiful to witness. It was definitely a memorable night! Truly made me love being able to capture this multicultural and diverse and classic New York City Wedding as a New York City Wedding Photographer. Here are some of my favorites from the day!
The couple would especially love to give extra thanks to

Metropolitan Opera House and Lincoln Center in New York City Engagement Session
So here again are two good friends of mine from good ol' college years. Meet Elaine and Gary, two lovebirds that had gotten together at the very end of my time at school and have been together ever since! Elaine just finished up her Masters in Music Therapy and Gary is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and is now an amazing piano teacher. BOTH of these individuals are highly talented in music and both can play a number of different instruments. Which is why the Opera House in New York City was such a fitting place to get their engagement photos done!! :) Elaine and Gary are currently living in Rochester, New York and came all the way down to NYC to see my face (jk- to take the photos). I'm pretttty excited to be heading back up to my old college town (Rochester) to photograph their wedding in August! PS: I always love shooting in the New York City Subways and getting those fun shots!
A Cape Cod, Massachusetts Destination Wedding
It was great to be a part of this wedding "on the cape". (AKA, on the Cod) :p Sarah and Jason have been dating since college years and have been together since. They are such a cute couple their wedding day was full of friends and family that came from all over to celebrate. They currently live in Houston, TX but wanted to come back to the East Coast (they are natives) to get married. Sarah is an amazing designer so the wedding was filled with beautiful DIY projects. It was truly an interesting day- including a trip to the swamps :) It was great to get out of my comfort zone as a New York City wedding photographer and see other parts of the east coast!
