Claire and Miles were a HILARIOUS couple. Throughout the shoot, Miles kept making Claire (and me!) laugh like crazy. He is quite the jokester and they both were a lot of fun to be around. The two live and breathe Brooklyn and have such a heart for the culture and history. Miles hails from Ireland, but has been living in Brooklyn for some time, so there is now where his heart lies. It's great working with people who love trying interesting and creative ideas for shots. We were able to walk around Williamsburg, then to the rooftop bar at the Wythe Hotel, then end up at the East River Park for a gorgeous view of the New York City skyline! A Stunning NYC Wedding Photography Session at the West Village and the High Line
Karen and John actually met a few years back in the UK while working abroad. Karen is originally from Hong Kong and John from Long Island, NY. They both now reside in Hong Kong. For their wedding, they wanted to encapsulate some photos from different parts of their life together. There was a time when they lived in NYC so they wanted to make sure they had some great New York City wedding photos to commemorate that part of their life. So Karen, all decked out in her beautiful gown, and John in his amazing suit, walked all along Chelsea and the High Line with me to get some amazing shots! Her wedding dress was amazing and his wedding suit was bomb. I am so glad to have gotten so many great shots as their new york city wedding photographer! Brownstones, cobblestones and New York City Taxis in tow!

Columbia University Library and Riverside Drive Park Engagement Session in New York City
Sherrie and Dan both attended Teacher's College at Columbia University on the Upper West Side of NYC. So when they asked if they could do their engagement session there-- I was really excited!!! I don't know what it is about libraries... ^_^ Our session began in the space where they spent most of their time studying, learning and equipping themselves to become the wonderful teachers that they are today. Dan now teaches High Schoolers and Sherrie teaches elementary students. I have so much respect for these two, they are excited to inspire and mentor the younger generation. They're also extremely carefree, fun and easy to be around and talk to!! It was a great session filled with taking polaroids of each other, singing, playing the guitar & ukulele and just really enjoying being each other's presence. We ended the night at Riverside Drive Park, and it was such a wonderful space and atmosphere to be in! It was awesome and I can't wait to photograph their wedding day as their new york city wedding photographer! They will be having their reception at Picnic House in Prospect Park! It’s going to so rad!!!
Soho and Downtown Manhattan Engagement Session in New York City
Jennifer and Angelo wanted to have their engagement session begin in their apartment where they call home in new york city. Then venture out nearby all around soho to photograph around their neighborhood. We popped some champagne to start of their session and had a blast with some of the most gorgeous backdrops downtown Manhattan can offer! It was such a blast to be able to photograph their engagement session and I also had the pleasure to photograph their new york city wedding in the fall!
