Judith & Irving had an incredible NYC wedding in the Summer full of beautiful details, nods to their Chinese heritage and also to their hometown of #Queens, NYC (represent!) They had their ceremony and reception at the Queens Museum; a sleek, modern space chock full of artwork and history of queens. Guests were even able to enjoy a walk through a vast panorama that features the the entire New York City! It was such a jam packed day, but the company and the energy made it a remarkable and memorable wedding! Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Cute couple alert!! Meeting at cafes are probably a common thing amongst my couples. Amr was a hardworking med-student that frequently "studied" at a cafe where Justine was a barista in Chicago. After a couple of months of buying A LOT of coffee, he finally made his move and was happily accepted! Together they then moved to Brooklyn, NY where they both reside today and had their beautiful wedding at Astra on 59th and 3rd ave! Astra is by Charlie Palmer and is now named Upper Story in the D&D Building (Decoration and Design). This was a gorgeous New York City Wedding that was paired with an amazing chef, Charlie Palmer at his restaurant UPPER STORY (which is formally known as ASTRA) and delicious food with a gorgeous view of New York City right at their fingertips.
Sunset Boat Wedding at Grand Banks, A ship Restaurant off the piers of New York City
Sally and Chris got ready at the gorgeous Greenwich Hotel in New York City and had their ceremony and reception with close friends at Grand Banks; an AMAZING boat-restaurant on the 25th pier! I was totally blown away at the views!! After exchanging their vows, everyone enjoyed Murray Cheese plates, oysters and cocktails and celebrated with the couple on the boat. With the sun setting behind them, an amazing view of downtown manhattan in front of them, the amazing summer breezy pier weather- nothing could have topped this. It was one of the most unique weddings I've ever photographed!!! Definitely continually stapling why I love being a New York City wedding photographer! West Village and Balloon Saloon Engagement Session
I had SUCH a fun time with these two, wandering the west village and Tribeca in New York City and trying to tame a dog-balloon! (I named him ROGER, and I tried to sneak him into Haiti with me... but that was a bust..) I loved how carefree these two were and willing to have fun with me in strange little creative spaces. We wandered around and even found a HUGE PIZZA BALLOON. You can never go wrong with PIZZA in NEW YORK CITY! It was so awesome to be able to be their New York City wedding photographer and capture these amazing and funny moments! I cannot wait to shoot their new york city wedding in a few months!
