I attended my first ZOOM wedding!! Congrats to Michelle and Adrian!!! I am so freaking happy for these two. They've been hit with a lot of obstacles these past few months, but have remained so optimistic and strong. Michelle has been working through the Covid-19 pandemic as a PA in a Queens hospital--had to cancel her bachelorette and wedding plans-- yet still worked her hardest in the front lines-- going ABOVE and beyond for patients, friends and family. I LOVE that Adrian has been there with her, supporting her and loving on her and LETTING HER BE BETTER. (And him too 😂) shoutout also to her kickass mom, who is also working extra hard, running a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Flushing that was hit hard by Covid-19. I am so thankful that even throughout all of this, her and Adrian are able to have this tender happy moment to celebrate their marriage with close friends and family. Even though we weren't physically in the same room, the emotion and love was PALPABLE. There were many, many tears of joy during this ceremony and again, so so freaking thankful that they were able to have this moment. They even had their best man and maid of honor give beautiful speeches! These are the types of POSITIVE moments we need during these dark times!!!
When this quarantine is over, we’ll finally get to hung, celebrate and eat cake (HEHE) together— and it will be EVEN MORE JOYOUS AND EXCITING!!!! 🎉
Michelle also delivered each of us petite cakes from Taste Creme and shot glasses so we could celebrate with them right after the ceremony!
Melissa and Andy really knocked it out of the park with one of the most well-oiled and planned wedding I've shot to date. We started the day early in the morning where the girls got ready at Melissa's apartment in the lower east side. Soon after, we headed over to South Street Seaport to grab some photos. It was especially great since it was early and not a single soul/tourist was around and we had the whole area to ourselves. They then had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Brooklyn with a western style reception afterwards... following after that with another Chinese Banquet right after! It might have been a long day, but Melissa, Andy and their whole party was really awesome to be around!! It was a lot of fun to run around all over New York City as their new york city wedding photographer! Here are some of my favorites from the day:
YES!!!!!! I dont even have the words to express how much I love these two! Henny and Justin have been huge supporters of my work and my growth as a New York City Wedding Photographer— and for them to trust me with such a special day for them is SO awesome and I’m just so thankful! I love all of these shots and I LOVED being a part of this wedding! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day:
Nothing beats the end of a reception with an outfit change an a Hanbok to give a cultural nod to their Korean heritage! I love photographing these fun, diverse weddings in New York City!!
