Prospect Park Picnic House Wedding in Brooklyn, New York City

Sherrie & Daniel are two gorgeous people, with even more gorgeous personalities and hearts.  They were so thoughtful, sweet, generous and suuuper easy to get along with! I even photographed their engagement session at Columbia University’s Library on the Upper West Side!  Throughout the entire day, people were pouring out love and support upon them.  We began with getting ready in Queens and then shooting at a nearby park.  It was in mid-november... and the foliage was beautiful.  It was a bit nippy out- but Sherrie, Dan and the crew were so solid, they fought through and we got some amazing shots because of it!  They had their beautiful ceremony at FGNY Church and then had their reception at the Picnic House in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York.  The decor and design was gorgeous and really reminded me of a Beauty and the Beast-like feel.  There were amazing surprise dance performances and just a lot of laughter and joy throughout the night!  So blessed to have gotten to be a part of the day and again so glad to be a new york city wedding photographer and travel all over the city to capture amazing moments!

New York City Hall Elopement and Reception at Casa Mono

Jessica and Lior wanted their family to share in their elopement in Cityhall.  So the whole troupe met at up at the New York City Hall and supported their vows and intimate ceremony!  Afterwards, a few rain drops broke out---but it didn't dampen the mood and aura of the group!  We proceeded to Casa Mono (A DELICIOUS Michelin starred restaurant!! @__@) for their reception, full of laughter, endearing speeches-- especially from the man who brought Jess and Lior together-- and amazing FOOD and drinks!  It was an awesome experience getting to spend a day with such a sweet group of people!  I love photographing these intimate elopements and capturing the moments that will matter for them in the future! I love being able to be their new york city wedding photographer! Here are some of my favorite moments from the day:

Upper West Side and Lincoln Center Opera House Engagement Photography Session

This cute couple hails originally from Florida but now resides in Albany, New York -- and were awesome enough to come down to New York City to shoot with me!  They are a huge fans of Magnolia's Bakery and definitely made it a point to get delicious baked goods at some time during the shoot. We went around the Upper West side, around Lincoln Center and the New York City Opera House.  It was a great session- they were huge troopers-braving the cold!! It always gets a little cold in New York City. We were also stalked by a random tourist man from Germany who kept popping up throughout the city, giving us words of encouragement.  (HAHA) I included a photo of him, taking a photo of them.  Nothing beats having your engagement sessions done in the hustle and bustle of New York City! A Montauk, Long Island Engagement Photography Session

Well, well... what can I say about this lovely couple?  First of all, that they're super amazingly CUTE and awesome and a huge part of my life.  Alan has been great friends with Jeddy and I since, like, a gazillion years ago.  We've been through tons of ups and downs in each other's lives, and most importantly, we've been doing the work of Christ together at Awakening Church!!  I am so happy that Alan has found Joanne-- and she has since joined the [dream] team!

I've seen their relationship grow; from the early stages of dating and now onto their journey to become husband and wife.  I am so excited to be a part of their big day and for the many events leading up to it!!  They decided to do their engagement session in Montauk (where Alan proposed!).  It's a beautiful place, romantic and sweet... just like them two love birds ;)  It was really nice to get out of New York City and do a session somewhere different, quieter and peaceful. Not that I hate New York City- but its just a whole different vibe- a good place to take a break!! But I will forever love my job as a New York City Wedding Photographer!
