A Greece Couple Elopes in New York City - Gramercy Park to Central Park

Despi and Emil decided to get married in New York City and have that dream New York City intimate elopement!  They both are from Greece and planned a vacation to NYC, so they thought, "why not also get married here!?"  They set up an appointment at the Greece Consulate and had an intimate ceremony with a few close friends and facetimed their family right after.  It was a really sweet moment! They had a room at the Gramercy Park Hotel, so we got some fun photographs with the quirky decor and then some more photographs at Central Park.  Despi and Emil were a upbeat and wanted to encapsulate their elopement in New York City in a fun way! I was so honored they chose me to be their new york city wedding photographer! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day:

Gorgeous and Elegant Engagement Session on the High Line, New York City

Thomas and Kate wanted to have amazing photographs taken in Chelsea, The High Line and the west village!  (seems to be a popular spot amongst my couples! Which is OK cuz I LOVE it there!)  We made our rounds and had a ton of fun!  It's always great to get real laughs out of people- especially if they're feeling shy! Hehe!!  They met in NYC, both working at the infamous Paris Baguette (<3 the bakery!) and are having their official wedding in Korea and i was so honored to be chosen as their new york city wedding photographer!  Loved working with these two!!

A Queens City Hall, New York City Elopement

My dear friends, Sophia & Ryan currently live in LA, California- but wanted to come back to New York City (Sophia’s hometown) to get married so that her grandma could witness the great moment! They got ready together at the Standard Hotel - East Village then headed over to the Queens (represent!) County Courthouse to get married! Yes, we even took a photo with the 7 train :O) The ceremony was sweet and they were surrounded by their family and close friends and it was a honor and quite an adventure to witness and capture it all!! It was a sweet New York City elopement that was a precursor to their LA Wedding in the following year. Here are some highlights from the day!!
