Beautiful Engagement Session in Downtown Manhattan and Dumbo, Brooklyn Bridge Park

Olivia and Andrew met in New York City and had their first apartment together in the Lower East Side before moving to Brooklyn.. and soon they would be packing up and moving cross country to LA, California! So to commemorate their time in NYC, they decided to have their engagement session done in their two neighborhoods! We began over by Cooper Square and then headed over to Dumbo! I loved being able to walk around these two creative neighborhoods and photograph their love! Featuring my favorite pit-stop: PIZZA, here are some of my favorite highlights from our session:

Lower East Side, New York City Coffee Crawl Engagement Session

Amie and Tim lived in New York City for a few years right above the Urban Outfitters on 2nd Ave.  When they lived here, they had their favorite cafes, bars and restaurants that they frequented.  They currently now have moved to San Francisco but still miss all their favorite NYC spots, so they decided to celebrate their old spots for their engagement session in New York City.  So here is an amazing engagement session that is spent eating, drinking and walking our way around the Lower East Side.  We hit up Third Rail Coffee, Liquiteria, a super cute stamp shop and a few bars on the way.   Man, I love being a new york city wedding and engagement photographer. I get to hit up great spots and find new spots to go back to!

Gowanus, Brooklyn & Soho Engagement Session in New York City

I got another chance to photograph around Gowanus, Brooklyn and Soho with Nick and Kimberly.  Nick loved the industrial and edgy look of their neighborhood and Kimberly liked the polished and chic look of Soho (where they work).  So we were able to combine their personalities into their engagement session and hit up both areas! It was such a great time because they allowed me to be creative and free with them and we found some really amazing spaces to photograph at. It’s so awesome to be able to capture these photographs for them for the future!! It was also awesome because one of these shots was featured in the New York Times!! I am so thankful they chose me to be their new york city wedding photographer!! They will be getting married in California next year! Here are some of my favorite shots!
