A "Friends" Inspired Engagement Session at the High Line and Washington Square Park with Katie & Amarveer

Katie & Amarveer wanted to do their engagement photos at the High Line in Chelsea, New York City. They wanted the rich urban vibes of the High Line and get some cool New York City street views as well. After those classic shots, they had a few of their best friends meet them at Washington Square Park and recreate some classic “Friends” NYC poses! (I figured it was perfect timing to blog this during the FRIENDS 25th anniversary year!!!) We took a little dip at the Washington Square Park water fountain (which yes, diehard fans, that’s not exactly where they filmed the opening of Friends BUT it SHOULD have been! LOL) and dancing with some NYC pigeons. O_O! It was a lot of fun working with them and their awesome group of friends and this was a engagement session/friend session to remember!

New York City Eating Tour Engagement Session at Chelsea Market

I always love a couple that's willing to eat delicious food during their New York City Engagement photo sessions.  Lindsey and Joe were one such couple that wanted to enjoy the delicacies of their neighborhood in Chelsea, New York City.  The lived right by the world famous Chelsea Market, so of course we had an amazing time causally eating some beef noodle soup, tacos and donuts! We had Los Tacos, Doughnuttery and Fresh Noodles. It was such an amazing shoot and we got some really fun photos!

A couple of months later I photographed their gorgeous New York City wedding at Current, in Chelsea Piers and you can check out those shots here! It is so awesome that they incorporated their nyc neighborhood into their wedding and photos because these are memories they will be able to keep and share forever!
