Nancy & Sung Jin - San Franscisco Wedding

Ahhh! I love traveling for weddings--especially to warm places :)  I flew in a few days early for Nancy and Sung's wedding in San Francisco and spent a few days with my hubs to do a bunch of location scouting (and sight-seeing).  Nancy had two spots in mind for photographs, Sutro Baths and Chrissy Fields in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.  Getting to come to a new city to experience gorgeous beaches and naturescapes- it was an amazing experience.  I personally LOVED Sutro Baths.  It was a historic bath ruins that was edgy and classic.  It definitely helped that Nancy and Sung were SO down with hiking down the super steep trail to get some awesome shots!  The weather turned out to be amazing.  It was a little drizzly/foggy in the morning (perfect SF weather haha!)- but it actually got us some great umbrella shots!  By the ceremony time, it was sunny and hot!  It was such a blessing to be a part of this wedding day and I thank them again and again for such a wonderful memory!!

Charlotte & Jeff - Catskills Wedding

Charlotte and Jeff took their guests out of NYC upstate to Mt. Tremper, NY in the Catskill Mountains and to the enchanting hotel and venue Foxfire Mountain House for a weekend of wedding celebrations. During the wedding day guests could choose from activities like a complimentary yoga class or hiking to Kaaterskill Falls before attending the main event at Foxfire Mountain House that evening.  It was a gorgeous Fall day with beautiful foliage, which made it even more beautiful to photograph.

Guests filtered into the mountain house for pre-ceremony cocktails before stepping out onto the veranda to watch the couple tie the knot under a modern chuppah designed and built by the bride's architect father. After the ceremony,  guests could explore the venue's grounds, which included a lily pond and adjoining pavilion. The festivities then moved to the reception tent with a unique Moroccan tiled dance floor! In between dancing to the band the Loyales, guests could enjoy snapping photos in the vintage airstream photo booth and dining on the local farm to table multi course meal provided by Foxfire as well.  Here are some highlights:

Laurie & Matthew Brooklyn Wedding

Laurie and Matthew travel a lot for work, and it was only fitting that their guestbook and table cards was themed for travel and airplanes.  It was such a pleasure working with these two amazing individuals that have carefree attitude and hilarious comedian friends.   Not only was their venue gorgeous, but every thought and detail put into the day was well thought out and accordingly situated to enhance their personalities.
